Fisher Creative, a marketing and communications firm in Mount Pleasant, is hiring an account manager based in the Charleston region. Be part of an organization that helps Charleston area businesses and nonprofit organizations tell their stories through words, graphics and video.
This is an opportunity to flex your creative muscle! The account manager would be part of brainstorming sessions and developing new ways to use social media and tell stories. Plus, enjoy a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home.
Job description: The account manager would oversee social media content creation, posting on social networks and engagement to grow client’s follower base. Additional tasks may include assisting with overall social media strategy, public relations outreach and email marketing.
Candidates must be familiar with social media networks (especially Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and how to use those networks for business. Candidates should have strong writing skills. Familiarity with Associated Press style and a journalistic style of writing is preferred. Candidates must be deadline-driven and a self-starter able to work independently.
Knowledge of MailChimp and WordPress helpful, but not required.
The account manager may work remotely with one to two in-person meetings required each month.
